Many in the crowd chanted and shouted out "One, two, three, four! Kick Mubarek out the door! Five, six, seven, eight! No more bloodshed! No more hate!"
On February 5, 2011, as the fate of Egypt hung in the balance, thousands of people gathered at the San Francisco Civic Center in United Nations Plaza to demand in solidarity with demonstrators around the world that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarek step down from power.
Protest organizers estimate there were between 7,000 and 8,000 people who gathered and marched around the Civic Center chanting anti-Mubarek slogans.
