Today the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) announced that a sixth burglary charge has been added on to previous allegations against a man already in custody.
The SFPD Burglary Unit has charged Javon Neal, 20, of San Francisco in connection with a commercial burglary that took place on March 26, 2018 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Neal, who police say was already in custody at the San Francisco Jail when this latest charge was made, has been identified as the suspect in the commercial burglary in which he allegedly entered a business on the 2000 block of Bryant Street and stole a laptop computer.
The San Francisco Police Department’s Gang Task Force had previously identified and arrested Neal in late March for numerous felony charges related to five different burglaries. These burglaries primarily targeted commercial buildings throughout the Central and Mission Police Districts of San Francisco over an eight-week period between January 29, and March 26, 2018.
Police say losses in these burglaries included nearly $14,000 worth of electronics.
Neal, who was on felony probation, has now been charged with a total of six different commercial burglaries.
